- Tell them your name first!
It is an introduction. Try to make them remember who you are. Always say your name when introducing yourself. - Say more about yourself, but not too much!
Give them something about yourself, like your hobby or things that you like. However, DO NOT tell anything personal. You just met them and you do not know them that well. Besides, you will make people uncomfortable when you tell them about your personal matters in your first meeting. - Be yourself and be honest!
You do not need to exaggerate things just to make others impressed. There is no need to lie just to make yourself look good in front of other people. All you need is to be honest and to be yourself.
When meeting someone new, no need to be worried or shy. You can start with the introduction from yourself and soon you will find yourself making a new acquaintance.
